Laser 2000 Sailing Dinghys
This summer has seen the delivery of seven Laser 2000 dinghys to the Sea Cadet Training Centres.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instructors Course
Congratulations to Sub Lt Mick Williams, Sub Lt John Padbury and TI Robin Oakley. They braved the September weather and completed an RYA Instructor's course at SCTC Caledonia under the expert guidance of the SCC's RYA training Officer Lt Tye Shuttleworth, who wished all courses were as good as this one!

"It was a tough course but we all learnt a lot and had some laughs," commented Sub Lt Mick Williams who is developing an expanded boating section at his new unit in Redcar. "I would recommend the course to any keen sailor!" For more pictures of this dinghy instructors course see here.
